We were having some fun with our Proscope in Science in Friday. The Proscope is a microscope that connects to the USB of our laptops. We took some pictures of various everyday objects in the classroom at 50x magnification. Can you guess what they are? Answers at the end of the week :)
We think we know some of the items. Number 2 we think is a pencil. Number 8 we think is a tennis ball. Number 5 is a tissue, number 6 is skin and number 7 is a key. How did we do? Have we got any right? Room 3 Balmacewen Intermediate
Hi I'm Chris from Tawa Intermediate, It must have been really fun using the proscope to look at everyday things. I can't even start to guess what any of them are! Where do you get proscopes? I would really want to try one out! We're starting to do a bit of science and I hope we use proscopes sometime soon.
Hi, I'm Henry from Tawa Intermediate, I think that it would be cool using the proscope and guessing what each thing is each week. Where could I get a proscope? I have a microscope at home but it would be cool to have one that plugs into my computer.
hi I'm Zac from Balmacewen intermediate how did you get the proscope to take all of those pictures because its connected to the computer or is it battery powered?

ReplyDeleteWhen we looked at the objects, we took screen shots on the computer of things that we thought were interesting.
