5 things you didn't know about Taxonomy!


1. We are related to gorillas - we have the same family 'Hominidae'
2. Dogs share some of the same DNA as wolves. They are the same species: Canis lupus
3. Lions and cats are related. The are in the same family: Felidae
4. Our scientific name is Homo sapiens
5. A pineapple’s scientific name is Ananas comosus.

    Dogs are wolves. They don't just "share SOME DNA" They literally are wolves, thats why they have the same scientific name.

      not the same DNA actually. Dogs are more domestic, making them have different DNA. They just originate from wolves
